Small Silver Memory Pendant
This smaller version of our dichroic glass Memory Pendant necklace was especially created for those who wanted a more subtle memorial piece. The glass is 3/4" and is set in a 1" round silver plate. Each pendant is hand made by the artist with love and care. You can choose to incorporates a small amount of cremains, a lock of hair, or both. Your pendant will come on a black faux leather neck cord.
Composition
The hand-made silver setting is made with Argentium Silver. This award winning silver is the most tarnish resistant silver available today, with recognition and backing from world-leading silversmiths. Silver tarnish is what often causes allergic reactions in people that normally cannot wear silver jewelry. This break thru tarnish resistant silver is sure to be enjoyed by all.
The pendant's bottom layer is made of black glass with an iridized back, the middle layer is several pieces of different colored dichroic glass, and the top layer is a cap of clear glass.
There are several styles available in this size. Choose from the options below.
1. Small Silver Memory Pendant
This pendant will include a small portion of your loved one's cremains in the front of the pendant. There are two options. The "visible" style has a clear piece of dichroic glass over the ash so that the crematory ashes are visible through the front of the piece. The "non-visible" style will have the ash hidden behind a piece of opaque dichroic glass. You can see samples of these two styles by clicking the first two small pictures above. (There is no cutout on the back for this style.)
2. Small Silver Keepsake Pendant
This pendant will include a lock of hair OR cremains in the back of the pendant. The keepsake is encased in an airtight and watertight plastic setting and placed between the silver setting and the bottom layer of glass. It has a cutout in the back of the silver so that your keepsake shows through the back of the pendant. You can see samples of the backs by clicking the third and fourth small pictures above.
3. Small Silver Combination Keepsake Pendant
This pendant includes a lock of hair AND cremains. The lock of hair is encased in an airtight and watertight plastic setting and placed between the silver setting and the bottom layer of glass in the back of the pendant. You can see a sample of the back with a lock of hair cutout by clicking the fourth small sample picture above. The cremains are fused between the bottom & dichroic glass layers and show through the front in the "visible" style or are hidden in the front with the "non-visible" style. 1. Choose 2 or 3 colors from the options below to create your unique pendant. These colors will create a range of color and reflection as light hits the dichroic glass at different angles.
