You may choose to witness the scattering. When your pet's ashes are released from the plane, you can see them clearly from beautiful locations picked to view the moment. Each scattering will include a certificate commemorating the scattering with the latitude, longitude, altitude and time the scattering took place.

Choose from three memorable scattering locations:
Santa Ana Mountains: Also known as Saddleback and home to Cleveland National Forest, your pet's cremains will be released on the west side of the mountain range. Families can witness the scattering at the base of Saddleback Mountain at O'Neill Park.
Santa Monica Mountains: This location is part of our national park system with beautiful views of downtown Los Angeles and Malibu beach. Scattering can be witnessed from numerous hiking trails or beautiful Zuma Beach.
Catalina Island: This serene tropical paradise is located 25 miles across the sea from LA and Orange county coastlines. Learn how you can become a Friend of the Island when your loved one is scattered here.

Choosefrom these three options how you would like to witness your scattering:
Unwitnessed - Come to the airport and watch the plane depart. You are welcome to bring flower petals to scatter with your pet's cremains.
Witnessed - The flight will be scheduled for a special day and time to allow for an unlimited number of family and friends to share in witnessing the scattering from the ground.
Private - Your pet's cremains will be the only ashes scattered on your flight and you have the option of being the one to release the ashes into the air. Additionally, up to four family members may ride along in the aircraft during the scattering.
