DAIQUIRI

It's still so hard to believe she's gone;  I'll never hear her crazy terrier bark when I go home to visit.  She was the typical Jack Russell Terrier, so energetic and happy.  So territorial.  So protective. I'll never forget her birthday since it was just one week before mom's and we always celebrated it with presents too.  And now, I'll never forget the day mom & dad decided that she shouldn't have to suffer anymore:  it was the day I was showing my new horse in a halter class.  The horse I went straight to and cried my eyes out, giving her the hugs I wished I could have given Daiquiri before she became an angel.

Mom named Daiquiri and she was our first (and only) indoor dog.  Her dog hair went everywhere you went because it was so short and stuck to everything.  We even had to buy covers for the furniture.  Daiquiri loved treats and I'm sure it was what eventually hurt her.  She knew exactly when hot dogs were being served, she could tell when you were turning the grill on.  She had to have one.  If we were having eggs for breakfast, she had to have a small bite too.  She loved sugar cookies at Christmas.  She even got into a whole dish-full of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups one year and I don't know how she didn't get sick.  She survived an emergency surgery when she was just two months old.  What a little fighter she was.  She "helped" out with the yard work.  More importantly though, she always stuck up for whoever was being yelled at.  It didn't matter if you were in the wrong:  you always had Daiquiri on your side and she let you know it.

She was there when I cried my eyes out and snuggled when I was sad.  She cuddled up in the bend of your knees when she was cold and buried her cold little nose under the blankets if you didn't tell her to "get under here" first.  That's what I'll miss.  I miss you so much Miss Daiquiri.

Love, "your big sister",
TJ

DENNY

Denny-web.jpgDenny was what we liked to call our "Jekyll and Hyde dog". One minute he was sweet and loving, the next he would be growling and snap at you. If he didn't want to be bothered, he would let you know it. He had the personality that Lhasa Apso's are often known for...but we loved him anyway. He was definitely one of a kind. Denny wasn't always mean. He loved to play and go for rides in the car. He would have played all day if he could find someone that could keep up with him. He entertained us for 11 1/2 years. Life just isn't the same without our little "Jekyll and Hyde dog". He is greatly missed. ~Jaclyn

DAWHOO

pet memorial Dawhoo,

My big brown eyed loving puppy, we are forever holding you in our hearts. You are missed so much by each of us. Your four legged friends still look for you. Cocoa is at a loss without you to lay by, Fozzy misses his mentor and Jericho, who is so much like you, missed out on knowing you too well. The boys and I so miss your velveteen ears, joyful greetings every time we come home, your perpetual tail wagging and even your incessant barking. I miss your kisses goodnight sweet boy. Da, we wish you so well, and hope that you are playing without pain on the other side. Wait for us old friend, we'll walk in the mountains and play together again soon. ~Colleen Wyatt

online dog memorial Dakota,

You will forever be in my heart. From the moment I first held you, you were loved. You were there for me through it all and I can't imagine life without you. You were a puppy at heart right up until the end and it makes it so hard to let you go. You were there as our family grew from just you, then you and Cheyenne and then you, Cheyenne and three kids. You were so gentle and sweet with the kids and they loved you so much. Cheyenne is lost without you. We will love you "big guy" forever. I wish I could have helped you during your final moments but it happened so quick, I hope you felt me comforting you as you took your last breath. Thank you for all the love you gave us for 10 1/2 years. We will love you forever Dakota.

We Love You and Miss You,
Mommy, Daddy, Savannah, Trey, Miranda and Cheyenne

"My little dog - a heartbeat at my feet." ~ Edith Wharton

To our sweet boy and his ever present wagging tail. For always being the one that w could turn to and receive unconditional love. There wasn’t a stranger that you ever met just a buddy he hadn’t made yet. There will never be a way to replace the love, companionship, sweetness, and never ending joy that you brought to us all. Know that no matter what you will always be Momma’s sweet little boy and there won’t be a day that goes by that she doesn’t miss and love you.

Love,
Mom, Dad, Summer, Brittany, Stephanie, Joey, Oreo “Sissy”, Rebel, Daisy, Vou, Simba, Morgan & Madison
