This is a super strong hand made Birch Plywood box measuring 8"x10"x3" with a custom imprinted wood lid. You e-mail us the image of your pet along with what you wish for an inscription and pets name and we will print a wooden portrait to memorialize your pet. The box can contain ashes or pet mementos. The lid is held on by 4 screws and the unit can sit on a table or hang nicely on a wall - the corners are held together with tiny finger joints. The size means that the portrait is nearly life size. The unit is made from farmed trees and is biodegradable if you wish to bury it. This is not some converted chinese box with a tacky photo insert, this is a purpose built box made here in the USA. - it looks even better in reality.
