The Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation began with a couple of restaurant owners with a love for animals. First, it was a few "lost" dogs needing a place to stay until they could find new homes of their own and it grew into taking in dogs who were about to be euthanized in shelters and finding them adoptive families. Today, the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation places an average of 1,500 animals per year into permanent, loving homes.

MEOW's goal is to help create a "no-kill nation," where people are responsible for their pets, where there are no helpless creatures abandoned in boxes or left to fend for themselves in parking lots, where there is no longer a need for any healthy companion animal to be euthanized.

Help us eliminate chaining, and substitute a kinder, more loving life for our best friends! We rescue and foster chained dogs that are given up by the owner and find a loving new home for them. |
